Stickers and Animation do not appear (Windows®)

When attempting to add a sticker or animation to a project in Kid Pix® Deluxe 4, the handles for the object show in the workspace, but the sticker or animation does not appear. Updating to Apple® Quicktime® 7.1.3 or above can cause this behavior. An Update is available to resolve this behavior. Review the remainder of this technical note for additional information.
- Scroll down to the Associated Downloads section of this technical note.
- Click the KP_Update_Win_Encrypted.zip file to begin the download process. The Extended-Download Description window will appear.
- Read the description and click Continue. The End User License Agreement will appear.
- Read the Agreement. Click Yes, if you agree to all terms and Conditions of the License Agreement. The Software Update Instructions will appear.
- Read and follow the instructions as presented. (The instructions can be printed if desired.)

This updated version will correct the issues caused by updating to Apple® Quicktime 7.1.3 or higher when using Kid Pix Deluxe® 4 School Edition or Network Edition. This upgrade is free only for purchases after July 1st of 2007. If Kid Pix was purchased prior to July 1st of 2007, this new version is available for 50% off current academic pricing with proof of purchase.
